Mozambican Meets Mediterranean

Evolve Restaurant plates up creative Mediterranean cuisine crafted from the best Mozambican and imported produce. Seafood and steak are our specialties, but the menu is a variety of everything from picanha and prawns to crispy-base oven-fresh Italian pizzas, and from Maputo style peri-peri half-chickens to French trimmed lamb cutlets. The daytime setting makes the most of ocean views from big windows and evolves as the sun goes down for evening dining with dimmed lights and plates for big appetites. 

Maputo’s fresh and abundant seafood is treated with respect at Evolve, with queen, king and tiger prawns and catch-of-the-day local line fish as well as fine-French lobster Thermidor and Portuguese bacalhau. Firm favourites from the grill include Chef Silvio’s signature burger and the flame-grilled espetada. 

The wine list is a selection of popular South African classics, beer is draught and from the bottle, and the cocktail choices take you from daytime through to evening. 

Peri-Peri

Maputo dining wouldn’t be complete without peri-peri and there’s no shortage at Evolve. Freshly made from fiery bird’s eye chillis and prepared for different heat preferences along with flavourful additions like coriander and ginger.  

Private Dining at Evolve 

A separated dining area for groups of up to 50 with dedicated servers and a choice of menus is perfect for milestone anniversaries, retirement celebrations or private engagements.
